why can Napoleon maintain power in animal farm

The power in animal farm is kept through a series of methods.

In my own opinion the most important reason why Napoleon maintains power in animal farm is by using a tactic called (“manipulation”) he uses tactic by being escorted by dogs every were he goes he does not go out very often he gets squallier to speak for him squealer is a sly    character his speaking gets the better of all the animals by being escorted by the dogs Napoleon a upper hand because in the story the dogs kill some of the animals these were four pigs which was injured  there were three hens a goose a sheep they were slaughtered on the spot  this shows intimidation by the other animals and he manipulated and speaks and tells them they have done wrong

One of Napoleons methods of keeping control in animal farm is intimidation as I said in the last paragraph Napoleon uses intimidation to scare the other animals to stay in line as I said before the dogs who are under control by Napoleon kill the other animal’s which tells the other animals do not do anything wrong, Napoleon could have been gaining power since he was a little piglet by keeping the dogs in the attic away from the other animals so they don’t remember them

Also Napoleon says how snow ball is a spy with the other farms and Mr Jones so they can get back at the other animals be the other animals because the animals wanted a life were there was no wips this was when old major was around there is no human clothing and straps they would live a free life the other animals don’t want the day when Mr Jones was around they may think he will come with snowball and with men with guns and come back and the animals my be ran out of the name they gave the farm animal farm this can relate to the real world when people government and higher people or police robbers or kidnappers intimidate you either to pay money or something so you can either to get out of that situation they are in on the other hand people may say

  1. Excellent start here Noah, you’ve identified and begun to analyse a range of factors very well.

    Targets:
    1) What about Squealer? How does his language allow Napoleon to keep his grip on power? Analyse the rhetoric he uses to persuade the other animals.

    2) Make sure that each paragraph uses evidence from the text to back it up.

    3) Where do we see these kinds of methods being used today?

  2. Remember to follow your targets Noah. You can’t achieve any of the badges until you hit the above targets.
